THE PROCESS

Meet & Greet

No need to get your photos taken like you are going on a blind date. Cringe right? I want to get to know you, your story, your goals. We will meet virtually at least twice before your actual photoshoot. This way you will feel confident and secure during your photoshoot.

Once I receive your inquiry, I will follow up with a link to schedule a virtual meet & greet. This is the best way for us to get to know each other and for me to answer any question you might have.

Complete your booking proposal

After our meet & greet, you will get a booking proposal via email. If you decide we are a good fit, then you can go ahead and complete your booking proposal. Your proposal will include a scheduler to pick a date & time for your session, a contract to sign, and payment prompt for your $600 retainer fee.

Virtual Styling Consultation

One more step prior to your photoshoot, is to plan your session in detail. You will receive a session prep guide that includes resources such as client closet options, my Pinterest boards of inspirations, a questionnaire, and a link to schedule a google meeting with me.

During your virtual styling consultation, we will decide your specific looks, from what to wear to what backdrop. We will narrow down colors, textures, and come up with a beautiful vision for your session. This is also another opportunity to ask any additional questions you might have.

Your Photoshoot

On the day of your session, the studio will be thoroughly cleaned, setups according to our plan. All of props, layers, wraps will be thoroughly sanitized to ensure baby’s safety. The studio will be warm and cozy for your precious baby.

If your session is scheduled at home, you will have a session prep guide from me to ensure your space is ready for the session. I will bring with me lighting, posing table, and any props and outfits if you choose to use them.

Gallery Delivery

Your online gallery will be available for viewing within three days of your session. Initial portraits will be retouched to enhance color and aesthetic. After selecting your collection and portraits, each chosen image will undergo high-end, detailed retouching, completed within two weeks of purchase.

Each collection is paired with a premium product, emphasizing the importance of professional printing for your portraits. Unlike consumer labs, professional labs ensure your images are printed with the quality and precision they deserve. Experiencing your portraits as tangible, professionally crafted pieces will allow you to cherish them in an entirely new way.

Collections feature my most-loved heirloom products, including folio boxes and albums. Select the product you love most and the number of images you’d like to keep. Digital images are also available for separate purchase.

Within two weeks of purchase, you will receive access to download your fully retouched digital files. Physical products are carefully crafted and will be delivered within 6–8 weeks of your order.

Q&A’s

These are the most common questions I get as a Newborn Photographer and hopefully they will be helpful to you. If you have any additional questions please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Most of my work is done in the studio. I can control light best and be really creative with custom sessions. However, I often do on location photoshoots and I love it! If you are interested on-location shoots please reach out, I am more than open to travel. Please know that on-location sessions need to be within 15 miles of studio. My most favorite locations are Rock Meadow, Arnold Arboretum, Wellesley College, Fresh Pond Park, near by beaches, and even your own backyard!

Absolutely! I love doing extended family sessions, it is always such a fun and special experience. Please know there is an additional $200 fee for families more than 6 people. Extended family sessions are done on-location or at your home (Backyards are great!). Studio is cozy and can accommodate families up to 6 people max.

Don’t stress about what to wear, I will help you style everyone being photographed. If you aren’t sure about something feel free to email me a photo and I’ll let you know if it will work! I also offer an amazing client wardrobe for moms and babies. We will work together to come up with ideas for your partner and older kids.

’ve lost count of how many clients have told me they aren’t models and can’t look like the people on my website and yet they totally rock their sessions. I will guide you through easy posing and tell you exactly what to do so you look and feel amazing. Leave that up to me!

I understand and I respect your decisions. I have no problem retouching some things you aren’t comfortable with, we all have our insecurities. This is something we will talk about prior to your session, so when I am photographing you I will use the best angles to focus on your best features. I often retouch my clients to smooth out skin, contour body, and add volume to hair.

If you need any further retouching, such as fixing nose bridges, slimming down arms, or removing double chin, please let me know. However, if your requests are unreasonable, I will have to decline.

If you or someone who is being photographed in the studio is sick please reach out to reschedule your session. I have many babies come in the studio and I want to make sure they are safe. Reschedules are permitted due to weather if your session is outdoors, In-home or Studio sessions are not effected by weather.

Within three days of your session, you will receive an email from me with a link to your proof gallery. You will be able to see your images color corrected. You will then choose which collection you would like, keeping in mind the image count and product. Once you complete your purchase, your fully retouched portraits will be available within 2 weeks for download. Your products can be picked up or delivered within 6-8 weeks after purchase.

Payment plans are only available for bundles. Bump to baby bundle is divided into 4 installments, and Baby’s first year bundle is divided into 10 installments.

Your initial investment is a retainer fee of $600. Once you receive your gallery, your retainer will be applied as a credit towards your collection of choice. Collections start at $1200 and includes 15 digital files and a beautiful folio box with 15 matted prints. Individual digital files are priced at $100 each.

First step is to fill out the inquiry form. Once I receive your inquiry, I will send an email with a link to schedule our meet & greet. This way we can meet each other and I can answer any other question you might have. Then I will email you a booking proposal and once it is completed, then you are officially booked!
