Mini sessions are most popular for moments in between full sessions, such as as 6-9 months baby milestones, yearly family check ins, as well as kids personality sessions. Since mini sessions are quick and effective, it is perfect for growing kids with short attention spans. Parents love how it is stress-free and lots get done in a short period of time.

Mini sessions are also growing in popularity with parents who love a simple approach to their memories. It is perfect for families who enjoy more candid and less posing. Mini sessions are done in the lifestyle portion of the studio, focusing on simple yet elegant everyday portraits.

STUDIO MINI MATERNITY

Perfect for couples who prefer candid over posed, clean over props. Modern lifestyle session, one look with access to the client closet. (If you have more children please inquire about a signature maternity session as 45 minutes won’t be enough)

This mini session is also perfect for pregnancy announcements.

STUDIO MINI NEWBORN

Lifestyle portraits of baby and parents, wrapped baby, or with an outfit. No props, no table posing. (If you have more children please inquire about a signature newborn session as 45 minutes won’t be enough)

STUDIO MINI BABY MILESTONE

Perfect for babies who are sitting upright without any assistance. Parents may also get in front of the camera with baby. This can also be for baby’s first birthday with simple set-up and cake.

QUESTIONS?

Here are the most common questions I get asked. If you still have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Mini sessions are 45 minute long. Please be on time for your session, as they are usually booked back to back with only a few minutes to spare in between. If you happen to be late, then your session time will reflect your tardiness.

For a mini session, our goal is to create beautiful timeless images with one look. You have access to the client closet with many dresses, and outfit options. I will help you choose the best option after our one-on-one zoom meeting.

If you are booking a maternity or newborn session, please inquire for a full signature session, as 45 minutes isn’t enough to capture everyone and create quality images. If you are booking a mini family, then of course your immediate family should be present. A mini family session is focused on candid images, lightly posed.

For regular studio mini sessions, the set-up is timeless and clean, with minimal props. You also have access to the backdrops in the studio including white seamless and fine art canvases.

Limited mini sessions have specific set-ups such as spring, fall and holiday mini sessions. The specific set-up is shown when bookings are open.
